The current work of Raul Perez, beautiful drawings of imaginary scenarios connected to a kind of alien life, is made of dreams transformed into appearance and substance. Raul Perez is shown, more than ever, faithful to an orthodox view (in the best sense) of the imaginary surreal universe. When we travel by its buildings of no one, the beings that walk are so absurd, that we soon found a skilled hand which instruments them with a pencil or ink in a watermark of dreams.
